M: Oh, yes, but not a thing to go against me. I had a car accident, only some minor injuries though.
W: Hello, Dave. I haven’t seen you for some time. Have you been away
M: Yes, I’ve just returned from a holiday in France and Spain.
W: Sounds good. Did you travel around much
M: Quite a lot. I had a month’s holiday so there was plenty of time.
W: How did you get around
M: Oh, all sorts of ways — bus, boat, train, ear and plane. I caught the train from London to Dover and then got the boat across the Channel to Calais. I met a friend on the boat who was going to Paris too, so I have company on the train journey from Calais. In fact she had friends in Paris so I stayed with them for a few days instead of in a hotel. It saved me a lot of money.
W: That was lucky! What did you do there
M: Oh, the normal things — went to the Louvre and Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower and so on. It was my first visit to Paris, so it was interesting to visit them.
W: Where did you go next
M: To Avignon

M: I feel the same. I often suffer from headaches and general weakness. Not enough time for sleeping. I don’t know what will become of me if it goes on like this for long.
W: And no time for sports, even music, not to mention films or TV programs. All we can see is exercises, exam papers and this sort of things.
M: It seems that to go to college is the only future we have.
W: Certainly not. Even if we can’t go to college, we can take up many other jobs and do our bits for the society as well.
M: Quite right. But we’ll get more knowledge after studying several years at college. That means we can work better for our countr
