W: It must be on your desk in the bedroom. Yesterday I cleaned the shelf.
I often find myself asking my grandmother to tell me stories of people’s life that occurred around the start of the Renaissance(文艺复兴). She says she looks forward to the times I show my inquisitive(刨根问底的) personality by asking her all about our family’s past when they lived over in Europe, years and years ago. I must do all my responsibilities around the house, which also includes getting my homework done each evening in order for my fun times with my grandmother to always ensue.
One particular evening, I remembered doing everything my mom had told me that day to do. This was mainly because grandmother had previously promised this would be the day she would tell me all about the obsequious(谄媚的) and sectarian(宗派的) groups of people who lived back then. As soon as I finished all my responsibilities, I rushed over to her house which was next door to my house. However, as I was running over there as fast as I could, my shoes lost traction which made me fall because
