M: Oh, yes, but not a thing to go against me. I had a car accident, only some minor injuries though.

W: How did you get around
M: Oh, all sorts of ways — bus, boat, train, ear and plane. I caught the train from London to Dover and then got the boat across the Channel to Calais. I met a friend on the boat who was going to Paris too, so I have company on the train journey from Calais. In fact she had friends in Paris so I stayed with them for a few days instead of in a hotel. It saved me a lot of money.
W: That was lucky! What did you do there
M: Oh, the normal things — went to the Louvre and Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower and so on. It was my first visit to Paris, so it was interesting to visit them.
W: Where did you go next
M: To Avignon

M: Tomorrow is my birthday. I would like to invite you and your family to my birthday party. Our teacher Mr. Wang in University will come also.
W: Thank you very much. When will it begin
M: At 6:30 pm.
W: Oh. Let me see. I get off work at 5:30 every day and then spend about 35 minutes on meeting my husband and my daughter, We shall cost about 45 minutes to go to your home. Is that all right
