W: John, since you visited Tianjin last week,, where do you want to go tomorrow
M: I want to visit every place here in your capital.
W: Well, I’ll have to make a list of the famous places for your reference.
M: Hong, it’s kind of you to be my tour guide.
W: I’d be glad to help you.
M: You know I really want to see all of the Chinese tradition here, so I think I can’t miss the Great Wall.
W: Of course, but the Great Wall won’t be open this Thursday, so maybe tomorrow we can go to Summer Palace instead.
M: Oh, what a pity!

W: John! Have you chosen a physical education class yet for this semester
M: No, why
W: You’ve got to take rock-climbing. We just had the first class and it looks like it’s going to be great!
M: You think I should take rock-climbing You’ve got to be kidding. Besides, how can they teach rock-climbing when it’s completely flat around here
W: That’s not important. You can’t just start climbing without any training. You have to get in shape, learn how to use the ropes, the belts, the buckles—there’s a lot of preparation first.
M: You don’t think it’s just a little bit dangerous
W: Not if you know how to use the safety equipment, which is, by the way, pretty high tech. The ropes are made of elastic fibers that stretch a little, the shoes have special grips on the bottom, and the helmets are made out of some kind of special plastic. You have to learn how to use all
A. Convince the man to take a rock-climbing course with her.
B. Find a place to go rock-climbing.
C. Find out if a rock-climbing course will be offered.
D. Plan a rock-climbing trip over spring break.

:[听力原文]1-10 Good morning everyone. This is the last talk in this series of lectures. Feel free to ask any questions during the talk, and I’ll do my best to answer them. Today I’m going to talk about university awards. By that I mean the various degrees and diplomas, and so on, that universities give to their students. I must make it clear that my remarks will be limited to the British educational system. Different countries employ different systems. How are the university awards obtained There are those awards which are given for the satisfactory completion of course work and examination. The two best known examples of these are the BA (or Bachelor of Arts) and the BSc (or Bachelor of Science) at undergraduate level. These are sometimes also called "first degrees", for the obvious reason that they are the first award that a student is likely to be given by the university. There are over 5000 degree subjects and combinations of subjects offered at universitie
